Throw in a little dining, shopping, site seeing, museum tours, an appointment to pamper yourself at a local salon, play some games at Greenfield Bowl and you’ll have plenty to do for the weekend in Greenfield. The event culminates Saturday night with a live performance by Jason Reed in an acoustic duo at 7:00 PM at the Warren Cultural Center.  Reed has toured all over the Midwest and to Italy and back again. His raw tone offers originals and classic Country/Rock music and he’s known to mix it up too.  The duo will play three 45 minute sets.  Tickets are $10 per person; concessions and a cash bar will be available.     The event is family friendly but offers enough variety that young adults and empty nesters will have plenty of opportunity to relax, unwind and have fun too!  Perhaps the most enticing part of the event is the price tag.  Ticketed activities are truly at a nominal fee and many things are free to participate including free shuttle service by All About the Fun Party Buses that will be making loops around town to get you from one attraction or activity to another.   So… can you do it?  Can you pledge to unplug from your overly connected world on digital devices?  Step away from your television and computer, leave your cell phone behind and join Greenfield in celebrating the only National Day of Unplugging event in Iowa? – IOWA Unplugged, March 7-8
